About:
Lesley Williams paints mostly in acrylics or oils, taking much of her inspiration from walking or sailing the beautiful North Norfolk coast and an ever changing garden.
A member of the West Norfolk Artists Association (www.westnorfolkartists.org) and the Village Art Group.
I exhibited and sold work at Picturecraft Gallery, Holt from 7th June until 3rd July. It’s a lovely gallery to showcase my paintings and I will be back during Holt Festival, when I will be painting ‘en plein air’ with Paint Out Norfolk.
Work in progress Cambridge . I joined about 30 other artists to paint ‘en plein air’.
PaintOut is always a challenge – it makes me work to order with time constraints, but good to do something different. Met some lovely people who stopped to see my paintings.
Thanks to the PaintOut team for another great event. Work is for sale at Cheffins Art Gallery until Friday afternoon.
I’ve recently completed these three oil paintings, all smaller than much of my work. I often work with a palette knife and build up layers over time, so sometimes my paintings take a while to complete. There are always quite a few on the go in my studio!
Recently sold:
Snow on the Marsh, oil on canvas
Painting in the garden behind the Arts Centre, King’s Lynn a couple of years ago – sold this recently!
Reflections, acrylic

HERITAGE DAY – King’s Lynn – September 2019
I had a great day with other members of the West Norfolk Artists Association doing workshops in the Fermoy Gallery. We had 670 visitors during the day and the challenge was to engage their attention for a few minutes before they moved on to enjoy all the other sights and activities around the town. I invited them to ‘COME INTO THE GARDEN’ and this was the result:
